One of the common things we say to ourselves always, especially at the beginning of a new year, or a new month, and probably on a new day is… “I want to learn something new, I want to drop my bad habits, I want to be productive, and so on… Most times, you achieve them and sometimes you don’t”.
Personal Development Training
I am going to discuss three (3) tips to help you achieve your resolutions especially if you are the type that keeps procrastinating. I call these steps, The Personal Development Training – An Ongoing Learning.
Personal Development Training – TIP 1
- YOU ONLY LEARN ONE SUBJECT AT A TIME.
What actually happens when you get several books to read from the bookshop? Most times you end up reading none of them because, maybe you didn’t schedule well to read them all, and facts remain that you can’t read and assimilate different topics at the same time.
In order to achieve your purpose of getting those books, all you have to do is to pick a single subject or topic that you are going to learn and give yourself time to learn it. My candid advice for you is to “create a learning plan” because it is going to help you to stay on track.
Personal Development Training – TIP 2
- WHAT’S THE ONE SKILL I HAVE TO DEVELOP?
This is the greatest question of all. Ask yourself, what’s one skill that if I develop and did it in an excellent fashion, it will help me the most to move ahead rapidly in life?
Based on your answer, you have to develop that skill by setting it as a goal, then make a list of everything that you’ll do to learn the skill. Then take action. Read The Cashflow Quadrant.
Personal Development Training – TIP 3
- LEARN SOMETHING NEW
Learn something new in this new era every single day, study a little bit, read a little bit, practice a little bit, and do something seven days a week until it becomes automatic and easy for you to learn. This will make learning a long live habit, then once you have mastered those skills, you can now think of another skill to learn and it becomes your next project.
If you do these, you will become one of the most successful, most productive and probably one of the highest-paid people in your industry.
